Take an easy hike in the valley, possibly with your children.
If you are a bit more advanced and have a bit of fitness, hike to one of the surrounding mountains and peaks and let yourself be pampered with regional delicacies and cool drinks at the alpine huts and mountain inns.
For passionate mountain hikers and climbers, the surrounding mountains offer beautiful and strenuous hikes and climbing routes. Enjoy the fantastic views over towns, valleys, lakes and mountains and experience the exhilaration after a “summit victory”.
The summer toboggan run in the neighboring town of Strobl, with a length of 1300 meters and a difference in altitude of around 160 meters, offers an unforgettable experience for young and old.
Cyclists and bikers are very welcome in Faistenau and the Fuschlsee region.
Here you can explore various cycle routes in the region on a racing bike or you can also ride the roads throughout the Salzkammergut.
In the Salzkammergut, mountain bikers will find many different ways to work out on a bike. From simple family bike tours on flat terrain around the lakes to demanding mountain bike routes with steep climbs and long descents, everyone will find the bike tour that suits them, their ability and their physical condition.
